| Single Adults The Single Adult Ministry of First Baptist Church desires to connect single adults to God and others. We work to provide a holistic ministry to meet the needs of single adults in our area. Through Bible study, worship, special interest activities, social events, retreats, and various other ministries and activities, we endeavor to minister to singles of all ages. Whatever your situation in life, we strive to provide a place for you in our groupings and ministries. See upcoming events below. SUNDAY - 9:30 a.m. Bible Study (link takes you to a complete class listing). Choose from one of these four classes: Agape' Who: For single parents of all ages Meets: Off Fellowship Hall, 3rd Floor Description: If you are a single parent and would like to network with other single parents, this could be the class for you! Deborah Scott teaches this class. Biblical study, but with other single parents.
Common Ground Who: For young adults 20-40 Meets: Fellowship Hall, 3rd Floor, Room 326 Description: This class studies the Bible with a strong connection to current events and life as we know it. Not only for young single adults, but some young single parents and married adults with children, too. An eclectic mix for contemporary life studies. Group also has weeknight book studies, too and regular social activities. Taught by Jim Hill.
Mizpah (Hebrew for "God's Strong Tower") Who: A class for single adults 40 and above. Men and women included. Meets: Room 609B. Taught by Pat Perkins.
Koininia Who: A class for single adults over 60. Meets: Room 402 Description: Taught by Jean Lee.
