Upward Basketball and Cheerleading
Pray for those involved in UPWARD Basketball and Cheer at First Christian, First United Methodist and First Baptist churches, including more than 400 children.

Recreation Opportunities
- Geezer Basketball: Men (40 and over) play pickup basketball games on Monday evenings at 6 p.m. except during the months of January and February. During those 2 months the group meets on Sunday evenings.
- Jr. Geezer Basketball: Men (under 40) play pickup basketball games on Sunday evenings at 7 p.m.
- Upward Basketball and Cheerleading Jointly sponsored by First Baptist, First Christian and First United Methodist Churches, this is an opportunity for hundreds of boys and girls in the Jefferson City area each winter (December through March) and also involves adults who coach, referee, lead devotions and pray for this event.
- Walk to Jerusalem is a 12-week exercise program to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual health in 2011. Download the flyer or check publications for more information.
- Softball League - During the summer, FBC participates in co-recreational softball through Jefferson City Parks and Recreation Leagues. Softball is offered to any member 16 years or older.
- The Tom Nelson Memorial Golf Classic - Annual Golf Event to honor Tom Nelson. Look for time and location in upcoming FBC publications.
