Global Missions

We have two global partnership: Kenya and Ukraine.  You can view videos from previous trips here.

UKRAINE:

In 2013, we officially began a partnership with a Ukrainian Church Planter in Eastern Ukraine.  Right after our partnership began, conflict with Russia erupted in Eastern Ukraine. Currently, our church planter has relocated to the western part of Ukraine and is partnering with another pastor to plant a new church there. They continue to help with relief work, transporting aid to Eastern Ukraine.  At this time, we provide financial support to the church planter for his seminary training and relief efforts through the Future Leadership Foundation.

KENYA:

In 2009, we began a partnership with the House of Hope Home in Naivasha, Kenya. The HOHH is a home to nearly 30 children who were orphaned or abandoned.  We support the work of Jason and Lisa Hovingh and Joel and Susan Karanja through their
partnership with Heart of the Bride. Most summers we take a team to HOHH to love and encourage the children and staff. We also do household chores, teach the children and do some minor construction projects. We have some church members that support some of the children through monthly sponsorship.

In the future, we plan to send teams from our congregation to encourage and support the work of the church plant in their community.  Our senior pastor traveled in 2016 to teach at the Baptist Seminary in Kiev.
