Project Homeless Connect: Donate 9/7, Volunteer 10/18

Jefferson City Project Homeless Connect is a one-day event based on a national service model to reduce as many barriers as possible to help the homeless or near homeless become self-sufficient.

This year’s event is scheduled for Friday, October 18, and was mentioned in the August 2019 Beacon. But there’s also a special donation effort in September.

Saturday, September 7     Donation Day (10 a.m. – 2 p.m.)

  • Bring donations of clean clothes and shoes to FBC Fellowship Hall.
  • Volunteers are also needed to help sort items that day.

Friday, October 18  Volunteer (9 a.m.  – 2 p.m.)

  • Volunteers are needed to register and guide guests to specific service destinations.
  • Volunteers are also needed to drive vehicles.
