Construction Projects Begin in July

We have an opportunity to help rebuild Jefferson City! The River City Habitat for Humanity build on Jackson Street is set to begin in July. Four homes will be built for families affected by the May 2019 tornado. We are excited to be a part of this mission opportunity. Safety guidelines have been adopted including limiting the number of volunteers per site to only five, wearing face masks, and tool sanitation.

Dates

FBCJC volunteer days for each month are listed below. Let us know which dates work for you and how you would like to help. You can choose one day or multiple days.

  • Saturday, July 18
  • Saturday, Aug. 8
  • Saturday, Sept. 12
  • Thursday, Oct. 15

“Build” and “Lunch” Crew Volunteers Needed

  • work on-site as part of the “build crew”
  • provide lunch for 5-10 people for one day as part of the “lunch crew”

(you’ll likely work with one or two others)
