Virtual Small Groups: Starting Aug. 23

Let's Talk
In these challenging days, life-giving relationships are important. We need safe space for conversation, listening, and deep-spirited friendship.

We hope youll join one or more Lets Talk small groups, meeting virtually beginning the week of August 23 and ending the week of September 27.

Sign-ups will open on July 31. You may sign up online at fbcjc.org or call the church office Monday-Thursday between 8 a.m.-5 p.m.. Friends are welcome. Email [email protected] with questions. Find other opportunities for spiritual growth at fbcjc.org/fornmations.

     Befriend (Led by Sondra Allen)
     Create Belonging in an Age of Judgment, Isolation, and Fear
     Wednesdays @ 7 p.m.

     Trouble Ive Seen (Led by Jim Hill, Deborah Scott and Hannah Coe)
     Changing the Way the Church Views Racism
     Wednesdays @ 5:30 p.m.
     Copies of Drew Harts book for this class are available for $5. You may purchase a book at sign up.

     In this Together (Led by James Preston)
     Marriage and Family Support
     Thursdays @ 7 p.m.

     Sharing the Faith (Led by Noel Blythe)
     Living in Love, Humility, and Gentleness
     Mondays @ 6:30 p.m.

     Kingdom Allegiance (Led by Brian Kaylor)
     The Politics of the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation
     Sundays @ 10:45 a.m.

Bible study classes (ongoing):

There are also ongoing Bible study classes that meet throughout the week. Below is a description of classes. If you would like to know more about the classes and when they meet, contact Hannah.

  AGAPE
   Single parents raising children. All ages and stages are part of this group. They mostly use a lecture teaching format with lots of discussion included.

   RIBS (Relationships Intentionally Built Through Scripture)
   Couples, ages 40 and under. Variety of teaching formats.

   FAMILY MATTERS
   Married couples, ages 25-45 with school-age children and youth. Variety of teaching formats. Focus on life issues.

   CELEBRATIONS
   Variety of ages and life stages. Married couples with school-age children to adult children. Variety of teaching formats.

   CONNECTING POINT
   Married couples but a few are single. “Middle-age” (46-60 yrs) and many are grandparents. Variety of teaching formats.

   LEGACY
   Diverse group of mostly married couples. Ages 50+. Most are grandparents, most retired. Primarily lecture teaching format

   WINGS (Women in God’s Service)
   Diverse group of women who are married and single. All ages and stages present. Variety of teaching formats.
