Thank you, Piecemakers!

On November 19, we were able to witness an incredible display of beauty and craftsmanship by our Piecemakers. You can see a few examples on this post, and view the whole album here.

Piecemakers Ministry makes quilts for adults and children, receiving blankets for babies, walker caddys, lap quilts, pillow covers and other items as needs arise.

This year Piecemakers committed to donate 40 twin-sized quilts for the Nursing unit soon to be built at Ashland Baptist Home.

Piecemakers also donates to Adams Street Nursing Home, Building Community Bridges, Baptist Children’s Home, Catholic Charities, Halo for Girls, Foster Care Association, Jeff City Manor, Miracles for Margaret, Pregnancy Help Center, The Timbers in Holts Summit, as well as members of First Baptist Church that are homebound or are living in facilities.

Piecemakers Ministry has been blessed to receive donated fabric in the past few years to help keep us going. We believe that God wants us to continue this ministry.

If you have an interest in quilting, or learning to sew, please join us on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, except Thanksgiving week and Christmas week in Room 101 in the basement.
