Associate Pastor of Families and Faith Formation (full-time)
First Baptist Church, Jefferson City, MO, is seeking a full-time Associate Pastor of Families & Formation to develop, administer, and promote an effective and holistic ministry of spiritual formation with all ages in a way that leads each person to follow the Way of Christ, discover their giftedness, and experience continual life transformation. This position will develop and work with lay-led teams to accomplish this work and assist the pastoral staff with pastoral care, teaching, and preaching.

Maintenance Associate (part or full-time)
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of our facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all. This position requires flexibility, including the ability to work one or two evenings a week and possibly some weekends. Depending on the candidate’s availability, the position may be part-time or full-time.

Worship Leader (part-time)
First Baptist Church, Jefferson City, MO, is seeking a part-time Worship Leader to lead and coordinate the congregation’s worship activities, a core component central to the congregation’s religious life and mission. This position would direct the planning, coordination, operation, and evaluation of a cohesive and thematic Sunday morning worship experience in collaboration with the pastoral team, support staff, and volunteer leadership. ABOUT US:
First Baptist Church Jefferson City (FBC JC) is a historic Baptist downtown congregation deeply committed to missions. The congregation, with an average Sunday attendance between 250-300, is roughly 53% aged 65 and over and 35% between the ages of 35 and 64. While we follow the RCL and the liturgical seasons, our worship style is not formal or liturgical but more blended with a praise team, orchestra, and choir. FBC JC is a predominately white congregation with diverse political and economic backgrounds that is welcoming of all. The church was founded in 1837 and sits on the banks of the Missouri River within sight of the Missouri State Capitol. We support missions locally and globally and seek to work alongside other churches from various denominations. We honor women’s call to ministry and the ordination of women in ministry both as pastors and deacons.
