Candles are available as you enter each section of the sanctuary. We have real candles we will light near the end of the service and also battery-operated ones for those who might need them.

Our Praise Team and Choir will lead us in singing some of the traditional carols along with some newer renditions. As we light the candles, we will sing carols together.

Lead Pastor Melissa Hatfield will share a reflection on how the coming of Christ reminds us that God is with us in the chaos.

We will share the Lord's Supper or communion together. Our Deacons will pass plates that hold cups with a small wafer and grape juice. You'll take one and pass it to your neighbor. All who love Jesus are invited to share the meal. You don't have to be a member of First Baptist. Pastor Melissa will lead us all in taking the meal together.

All end-of-year gifts and offerings must be postmarked by December 31. Likewise, all online gifts should be dated by December 31. The church office will close at noon on Wednesday, December 31. To support our mission and ministries tonight, place gifts in the offering boxes as you exit the sanctuary, or give online to the General Offering (7% Missions) fund. To give to Benevolence in our community, place gifts in the offering plates held by our Deacons as you exit, or give online to the Benevolence Offering fund.
